The Good Food Guide Awards The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Awards 2009 was launched in glamorous style in September 2008, in conjunction with Vittoria Coffee, proud partners of the event for over 6 years. Event partners also included Kemeny's, Brown Brothers, Belvedere and All Clad Cookware. The guide, now in it's 24th year, celebrates dining excellence throughout Sydney and Regional NSW. City2Surf The Sun-Herald City2Surf is Australia’s most prestigious road race and is the world’s largest timed fun run with 70,000 participants taking up the 14 kilometre challenge on the second Sunday in August every year. From its humble beginnings in 1971 with just over 2,000 entrants, it is held annually on the second sunday of August. Starting in William Street in the heart of the City, the 14 kilometre journey ends at Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach. It is a chance for the community at large to race with the world’s top athletes, creating a brightly coloured sea of faces in all shapes and sizes.
